We just finished celebrating Media’s second annual Happiness Week. It’s been a thrill to be the instigator of such fun – we had an old fashioned street dance party, a couple of fairs, drumming, learning about plants and saving energy and lots and lots of connecting with new and old friends.
The idea to celebrate came from working with colleagues around the world as part of my work on the United Nations initiative toward a New Economic Paradigm based on Happiness and Wellbeing. I love the fun stuff but for me the highlight of the week was a community dialog on integrating what the world knows about changing what we measure and why with how our community goes about its business.
